Bay Scallop Stew Recipe

Milk (not skim or 2%)

Scallops OR

Lobster meat **

White pepper (or to taste)

Directions

  1. In heavy sauce pan saute shallots in butter, add wine; boil.
  2. Lower heat and simmer 2 min.
  3. Add scallops, simmer 5 min.
  4. Add milk, cream and chives.
  5. Stir until hot.
  6. Do not boil. salt and white pepper.
  7. Serve. prep time 30 - 45 min. **Alternative: 1/2 # scallop - 1/2 # lobster meat.
  8. Stew will separate slightly.
