Ingredients

Worcestershire sauce

Bread; toasted, crushed

Mayonnaise

Directions

  1. Combine first 7 ingredients in large mixing bowl; mix well, and set aside.
  2. Melt butter; add flour, salt, stirring until smooth.
  3. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Gradually add 1 cup milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened and bubbly.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Spoon sauce into crabmeat mixture, mixing well.
  7. Add toast crumbs, reserving 1/4 cup; mix well.
  8. Stir in mayonnaise.
  9. Fill 12 crab shells or 6 oz custard cups with crabmeat mixture; sprinkle reserved toast crumbs on top.
  10. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
  11. Serve immediately.
